Normally I dislike taking drugs. I have to hurt quite a bit to take pain killers, so the fact that I've chewed my way through a jumbo pack of Neurofin plus is a bad sign. Then last week my father in law gave me a script for some serious anti inflammatory drugs. I'm now taking Naproxen 500mg twice a day, and after three days, the signs are good.
It doesn't increase your range of movement, but controlling inflamation and therefore pain is a very good thing. I think this drug is an example of what the call a NSAID.
Does the Naproxen upset your stomach, acid, etc.? Did mine.
ReplyDeleteYou don't love drugs? I love drugs for what they can do. Antidepressants are my friend! However, you have my sincere sympathy, empathy. If you can let the inflammation around the nerves subdue, that is good.
So you've had the Naproxen too. Luckily it doesn't hurt my stomach...yet, but they do warn it can. And so far the results continue to look good.
ReplyDeleteI am a serious sufferer on my left hand side--I saw A Current Affair on Vic TV and they were mentioning a cream called Pain Away --I have no financial interest but I use it regularly about $20a--low smell --It works --I have the drugs but I refuse to take them unless it is really necessary--this really works & after it has warn off you can feel the ultimate pain return --I thought your blog has been very interesting & helpful --try this & post your comments

Oral medications are often used as the first line of treatment (different treatment options with different duration of action and some daily treatment), taking into account other treatment options if these do not work for the best treatment.
